Help for swollen feet and ankles

“My biggest struggle was my feet and swollen ankles. Changing standing and sitting positions would hurt really bad. If I had to work long hours in the kitchen or go to shows with my boys, I would get really tired and would need to sit down somewhere. I would have to be really careful. If I just want to go to a party with nice shoes, I can’t.

It just didn’t seem normal to me. I thought I should get back to normal. Before WFC, I saw sports medicine doctors and feet specialists. The X-rays came out clean. They didn’t suggest anything other than wearing support in the shoes, which I had been wearing. It never went away and that was not the root of the issue. It was frustrating.

In my religious practice we are used to sitting on the floor. So whenever I would change from sitting to standing, it’s like a chore. I would limp and everybody would be so worried. I feel like I’m a sick person, but I’m not really a sick person. I don’t want to be sick.

Other doctors suggested steroid injections, but I did not want to go that route. So I’m glad I found Whole Family Chiropractic because this care is without any injections or any other side effects to my body. It’s a big relief.

First thing I noticed was my digestion. I had a number of digestive issues a couple of years ago, but now I’m able to tolerate more. And my bowel moments have improved quite a bit.

The first thing I really liked about Whole Family Chiropractic was the warmth here. I feel very comfortable. With other chiropractors we did not get that quiet, comfortable feeling. When my younger son was going through ear infections is when I started exploring chiropractors. And my husband is a little skeptical when it comes to anything non-medical. But because we were referred to WFC by our temple friends, that gave us a good start. I feel like Dr. Tye and Dr. Chelsey actually want me to get better. That’s the biggest difference.

Starting care here was a considerable change and people started noticing.

The promise that WFC gives me to know that things will be better — that’s really comforting. Until I saw Dr. Tye and Dr. Chelsey, I was thinking that I’ll have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. But I wasn’t seeing the light towards the end of that.”
